Annual Spring Concert, April 11, 2026, 98th Season.
The Ridgewood Choral performed their 98th anniversary Spring Concert, Women of Note, April 11, 2026, at West Side Presbyterian Church. From the opening Processional, a Navajo prayer set to music, "Now I Walk in Beauty," to our soaring finale, "High Flight"—composed by Karen Linford Robinson and set to the iconic poem by John Gillespie Magee Jr.—the program explored themes that resonate deeply with the human experience: joy, love, dreams, comfort, peace, angels, silence, light, and the exhilaration of flight. A highlight of the afternoon was a dynamic viola performance by Edward Lee, recipient of the 2026 Florence Reinauer Scholarship. He performed the spirited Andante and Rondo Ongarese, Op. 35 by Carl Maria von Weber, accompanied by Hyunjin Cho, earning enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.
